Crenshaw High School's Return
BY AMY CLIP | MAY 23, 2020
Being founded in 1968, the school has received new remodelling from the recently appointed principal, Jeremiah Lawson. Crenshaw High School has birthed many of Los Santos' finest athletes in various sports such as basketball, baseball and football— soon leading into successful college and professional careers, as Crenshaw High has often served as a pipeline to NCAA Division. Now reopening under new leadership, the high school is now looking for new enrolments from the Glen Park, Jefferson and East Los Santos region.
Core and elective subjects final year students can take include,
- Visual arts and or performing arts
- Vocational education (woodworking, metalworking, computer-aided drafting, automobile repair, agriculture, cosmetology, FFA)
- Computer science/information technology
- Business Education (Accounting, Data Processing, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Business, Information and Communication Technology, Management, Marketing, and Secretarial)
- Physical education and outdoor environmental sciences
Initiatives including literacy and numeracy coaches, flexible learning spaces, a focus on staff training and development and strong partnerships with Los Santos University helping helped the school to thrive. With new leadership, we expect Lawson to change the face of Crenshaw's youth and make it become a true success story.
