Note that this is more of a set of roleplay tips and isn't really a "guide" in its normal perception. All situations are different, yet there is a certain pattern in gang roleplay that is becoming concerning.
My point is, if you see a cruiser pulling up, there should be a reason to be mad at them. Suspicious? Sure. But again, getting into cops' faces and starting to give them "fuck you bitch ass police dang gang f 12" is just cringe and unrealistic. Police Officers have a lot of power and gang members know that. Yes, we are limited by law, procedures, and policies. But an average gangster isn't a lawyer, bet he/she would low-key think police officer can take them away for whatever reason. A lot of times you would see gangsters and officers have sort of OK conversations, even joking back and forth. They're all people.
It is not 1992 after Rodney King, not 110% of the population goes around sticking middle fingers at police cars. Not to mention that no gang wants unnecessary attention brought to their territory. Because guess what? If you start shooting at cops for just stopping by, you will be pressed on by having a unit every 5 minutes patrolling your area.
We in Gang Unit and in the LSPD as a whole do roleplay fear (i.e. not stepping out of the car, esp. solo, surrounded by a bunch of gangsters). And we ask you to show some adequate reaction to the police, too. We are striving to provide quality roleplay to you. We are not perfect, but nothing is. It is our mutual goal to create enjoyable and immersive roleplay for each other.
Thank you,
Estes.
