BURTON DRUG TRAFFICKING ORGANIZATION
Police call it temporary but the locals say it is permanent. Crenshaw, Los Santos is now a “victim neighborhood” and a home to one of the most prominently growing crime groups in the state lead by reputed and previous Ganton blood, Lloyd Burton.

Los Santos detectives, aware of the notorious Lloyd Burton, describe him as “the second coming of Frank Lucas but smarter”, which to many is easily an understatement. The ex-blood OG was light years ahead of his previous street gang subordinates and counterparts. Informants that once knew of Burton say he was “always chasing the money while others waited for it,” and the determined mindset gave LEO the concept that Burton was going to be a problem.

After multiple indictments, gang murders and natural deaths, the blood gang in Ganton Circle disappeared off the map. Many leaders to the coterie were either killed or booked life sentences in San Anne’s brutal correctional facility. Despite Burton and his affiliates having a reputation, LS detectives had zero information that could successfully prosecute and imprison them. So among adversity, Burton and his tight-knit crew laid underground and used the gang downfall as a way to make an uproar—and so they did. Burton and his followers accumulated hundreds of thousands of dollars through drug and weapon trafficking that they eventually laundered through legitimate businesses and companies across the state. The FBI, LSPD nor the IRS could catch on. Burton and his group were always two steps ahead.

Eventually, within due time, Burton and his people come out of the woodwork, claiming Crenshaw, Los Santos as their playground. The connections Burton had made during his tenure in Ganton had become even more important than they were before. Money began delegating through Burton’s affiliates to his networks, which eventually established a large trafficking ring with a headquarters in the hood - where the gang was a disguise for a growing conglomerate known as the Burton Drug Trafficking Organization.

Very similar to Frank Lucas, Burton equipped his street knowledge to form a large monopoly. By late 2017, almost every “lick” was a mission by his thugs, nearly every particle of cocaine, crack-rock or bud of marijuana was all in part sold because of Burton’s doing. The entire organization dominated the corners of Crenshaw but operated like the factions Burton associated with—mobs, cartels and syndicates. The hierarchy stayed off the streets and had their own platoons of goons that monitored the lower level, acting as mafia enforcers for the block, and every piece of revenue acquired on the streets eventually touched hands with the man behind it all, Lloyd Burton, the orchestrator, boss and kingpin of the eastern chunk of the state.

The complexity of the organization structure seems transparent because of street gangs, but what the police don’t know is what the police will never know. Burton and his associates move like they’re playing chess and will continue to successfully oust all competition from the western seaboard and soon dominate the criminal underworld past the national level.

Out of Character

The Burton Drug Trafficking Organization is incorporates all levels of the drug trade in contemporary America. There is an organized, nomadic side of dealing and the foot-soldier, corner dealer side of the spectrum. Players are given the opportunity to develop using either or to satisfy the needs for a unique storyline.

The organized side is lead by Lloyd Burton, with a notable crew called Dennis Gentry & Associates. You are not limited to roleplaying with this sub-faction, but it is accessible for those who hope to jump into the OC degree. If you are rapt and aspiring to head in this direction, you may contact Lloyd_Burton or Daniel_Verna through their PM. Be warned that we will not automatically associate with you in-game because you are inquiring. Creativity and willingness are expected out of all potential members. Click here for the Dennis Gentry & Associates thread link and to view more information on the sub-faction.

As for the gang side, we are not restrictive on what comes out of players. You are given the opportunity to join the Rosalia St. Bloods lead by Luddy a.k.a. Nasir_Otis. The gang side is the lower tier of the organization, handling a lot of the dealing on the corners and in the neighborhood. The ghetto neighborhood roleplay is an atmosphere that is provided and can be experienced for anyone who goes by. You may reach out to Luddy directly if you are interested. Click here for the Rosalia St. Bloods thread link and to view more information on the sub-faction.

ARMED BURGLAR ARRESTED AFTER CONVENIENCE STORE ROBBERY
September 16, 2017 | Alexander Summers | LS Times Staff Writers

On September 15, 2015, a 24/7 convenience store in East Los Santos was robbed on Tuesday by two African-American males. Until today, the Los Santos Police Department’s pursuit on the two armed robbers was parched and heading in no direction. Police discovered that one of the armed men involved on the 24/7 robbery was Carmelo Hill, a probable, reputed gang member with ties to Lloyd Burton, while the other gunman remains unknown to LEOs.

Earlier in the investigation period, detectives found numerous fingerprints on the counter besides the cash register, prints on the bullets discharged (including two in the cashier’s kneecap), and handprints on the front door of the convenience store. All evidence lead directly to Carmelo Hill, officials took action and discovered a white 2003 Toyota Corolla sedan outside of Hill’s residence on Forum Drive that looked identical to the getaway vehicle used at the scene. The LSPD detained the suspect [Hill] into custody the following night.

After going on trial, Hill was accounted guilty for attempted murder, armed robbery, possession of an illegal firearm, and evasion but was only charged as a minor in the San Andreas Supreme Court. Immediately, he [Hill] was transferred by Police to SACF (the San Andreas Correctional Facility) after being given two years with a chance of parole.

Police managed to seize a portion of the illicit money that seemingly came from the 24/7 East Los Santos robbery inside of Hill’s white 2003 Toyota Corolla. However, anyone that has information that may help police find the second suspect must call Crime Stoppers immediately at (555)-312-STOP.

JEFFERSON - When it comes to gangs, Jefferson is far from places like South Central.

However, the gang situation in the Crenshaw area is quickly becoming very serious, according to anti-gang activist reverend Leon Kelly, who has been working with East Los Santos' gang unit.

Kelly has monitored gang activity in Jefferson for the past 30 years. When East Los Santos Police Chief Robert White admitted the city was experiencing an uptick in gang-related activity this year, Kelly gave his perspective on the issue and why he believes gang crime is on the rise in the city.

Regarding three gang-related deaths that happened within 24 hours, reverend Kelly said it was only a matter of time. To understand why, Kelly said people need to understand what has changed within Los Santos’ gangs this year.

"It's not the fact that new gangs are on the rise," Kelly said. "These are newer gangs with players we have seen before."

Kelly said the Bloods and Crips are still the dominant gangs in East Los Santos but newer, younger members seem to be in charge. Kelly believes many of them are using another level of brutality that is worrisome.

"The type of malice and type of total disregard for a human body has made it different than what I've seen in the past," Kelly explained. "When I'm seeing these kids dying and the way that they're dying, it causes me to be able to say this is something that is serious."

Since January, East Los Santos has seen eight gang-related murders and nearly a dozen gang-related assaults, according to East Los police.

Reverend Kelly says the details on nearly every one are startling.

"From what I've been able to see for a number of the homicides, it's almost like the cartel," Kelly said, "They're sending a message."
