Character's story(You can use the story from your application):
Tiago Gordon was born in Cali, Colombia in 1990; however due to the narcotic drug trafficking wars in the late 1900’s his parents were forced to move to USA in 1994. His parents lacked the ability to speak English well; therefore they had no other choice but to work multiple small jobs. Consequently, Tiago spent most of his time alone or with his troublesome friends. A major part of his youth was spent causing trouble on the streets, until one day he unexpectedly discovered a Boxing & Muay Thai gym near his school. At the age of 14, with no money or motivation to enroll into boxing classes, other than to learn how to defend himself, Tiago simply stood at the front entrance glass window.. Observing what was inside.
“COME INSIDE!!”
Tiago heard from the other side of the glass a loud, raspy, and controlling voice. He immediately obliged, swung the entrance door open, and entered the gym. He then took part in a one hour introductory boxing course, free of charge. That was the day Tiago’s life changed. He then consistently visited the gym, spending his time training instead of on the streets. He would pay off his monthly gym membership by doing odd jobs; sweeping, mopping, sanitizing the rings, the training mats, cleaning the windows… A strong bond was built between Tiago and the old, wise, loud, raspy-voiced old boxing coach; a retired 13x Boxing World Champion. The old man even helped Tiago obtain his American citizenship. All the way until his early 20’s Tiago spent two to three hours in the gym, four days a week. He began his amateur boxing career at the age of 17, ending it at 22 years old with a record of 22 Wins, 3 Draws, and 5 losses. His amateur boxing was halted due to his admission into a renowned University, where he studied Law and Criminal Justice for 4 years in order to obtain a Bachelor’s university degree.
BAD NEWS.
Upon graduating from university, and returning to the city of Los Santos, Tiago discovered that his mentor, the 13x Boxing World Champion, had passed away due to natural causes weeks before. He then also discovered that the gym where he trained at was being bought out by the bank, and being sold to a high-paying property investment company. With a heaving university debt, along with the troubles of renting for cheap in a dangerous neighbourhood, Tiago wishes to work hard enough to be able to open a new gym in his mentor’s boxing name, TEGO THE TITAN. Having several jobs such as working as a trucker, as well as a security guard, Tiago wishes to also use his skills and knowledge previously obtained to teach & instruct other people on the Titan Boxing ways.

What type of roleplayer are you? (Cop/Gang/Mafia/Gov/Civilian) Civilian
How do you plan to treat the instructor job(Roleplaying/giving it out/training)?
Every class will be scheduled ahead of time, and the students will be picked depending on correspondence to certain advertisements or postings. As Tiago could only salvage a very small percentage of boxing equipment from his mentor's gym, he can only hold classes of up to 4 to 6 people at a time. Within time, the classes shall grow and eventually a gym may be purchased. Private and personal one-on-one classes are available for customers; however at a higher cost.
Every class must commence with an introduction among the students, and the teacher. Everyone must mention their name and either what they do or their hobbies. Simultaneously, several cautions and warnings will be delivered to the students, as well as a liability form which prevents any legal action towards the instructor in case of any physical, mental, or emotional injury. The students will be warned that the lessons are highly intense; therefore if they cannot keep up, or if they reach a point to where they feel physically threatened, then they must cease to participate.. The students will also be advised that they can either pass or fail, depending on their ability to listen, acknowledge, and follow instructions. ((Lack of RP/effort will result in failure))
A light warm up shall begin the lesson, consisting of either going for a 5-10 minute light jog, or 4-5 rounds of skipping; depending on the weather. Upon concluding the jog or skipping period, there will be an important session of stretching. There will be a large focus on the shoulders, elbows, wrists, neck, hips, quadriceps, hamstrings, and calves. All of these muscles and joints will sustain heavy exhaustion and possible damage during the Titan Boxing lesson; therefore they must be warmed up and prepared. In between stretches there will be light exercises incorporated to keep the heart rate elevated. These include push-ups for 10 reps, 20 sit-ups, 15 squats, and 15 lunges.
Every Titan Boxing lesson shall cover the basics. This includes stance, posture, breathing, footwork, punches, and blocking. Each of these aspects will be expanded and focused on through several demonstrations, explanations, and brief periods of application. The main focus of the Titan Boxing lessons will be to teach students the variety of punches, and how to throw them effectively within combos. The basics allow each fighter to shape their combos, whether it be by throwing a jab punch, a cross punch, a hook punch, or an uppercut punch. All of these punches mixed in an efficient and technical fashion results in a devastating combo. Sparring, head movement training, and technical fighting tactics will be taught to more advanced students, or those scheduled in private one-on-one lessons.
It is important not only to have technique, but also the strength and endurance to fully use these techniques. In order to train and improve the students' strength and conditioning; the Titan Boxing lessons will incorporate weight lifting, aerobic workouts, body-weight workouts, and dynamic High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Each round of the intense Titan Boxing lesson strength and conditioning session requires a minimum of two minute breaks in between. At this time students can enjoy cold, fresh water provided by the instructor; however they must be warned not to drink too much or they will cramp. Once all five rounds of the intense Titan Boxing lesson strength and condition session concludes; students move onto the testing phase.
Students must be able to demonstrate the abilities taught in class, and prove that they've been listening throughout the lesson. This includes proper stance, footwork, punching techniques, blocking techniques, and breathing techniques. Each aspect will be tested and analyzed thoroughly, and only those who demonstrate a moderate level of understanding will pass. The inability to show confidence or ability to deliver such techniques will result in failure. Failure to at least demonstrate effort in applying the previously mentioned techniques will also result in failure.
In concluding the lesson, the instructor shall lead the students in a light cool down exercise. This will allow the heart rate to deescalate in a safe manner, preventing injury or unnecessary soreness the next day. The light cool down exercise will vary, and is not limited to: Light shadowboxing, core/ab work, a light jog, and a light skipping rope session. This will then be followed by a brief stretching session. Depending on the number of students, Tiago may provide students with foam rollers. These will facilitate the effective stretch and recuperation of the muscles. Lactic acid built up during the lesson will painfully be rolled out. Once again, as touched upon in the warm up stretching session, the muscles and joints that will be stretched at the cool-down include the shoulders, elbows, wrists, neck, hips, quadriceps, hamstrings, and calves.
The instructor then delivers the certification to the students who have passed the lesson. These provide proof of certification for students to be able to compete as Amateur Boxers. Through their training and knowledge obtained in the Titan Boxing lesson, successful students will then be able to not only kick ass, but also be certified in doing so. They also have the option to attend and assist in future boxing lessons, free of charge.
