Only in a world this shitty could you even try to say these were innocent people and keep a straight face. But that's the point. We see a deadly sin on every street corner, in every home, and we tolerate it. We tolerate it because it's common, it's trivial. We tolerate it morning, noon, and night.

Chinatown lays in the heart of Commerce. Similar to Downtown, Commerce holds a high dense population of people living very close to each other. Statistics show that 6% is African-American, 19% is Hispanic, 25% is Caucasian, 48%, is Asian-American while the last 2% is Other.

Victims in recent attacks that appeared to be racially motivated have spoken up in their community. Joshua Brown, a twenty-eight year old laborer who works with a rebar company, claims that he has been attacked, jumped and robbed not only once, but four times within the span of three months. "It's gettin out of control, mane. I ain sayin it's a specific race, but 'em Chinese gangs be very aggressive to anybody walkin home from work at night, feel me? Authorities won't do (sh*t). Neighborhood Watch busy watchin their paychecks and us citizens who work hard fo our money earn nothing but a gah-damn beating from those uh, wha you (n*ggas) call them? Wah Ching?"

Local authorities for the LSPD have announced that there has been an increase of homicide and drug related deaths within Chinatown and skidrow. The opioid epidemic has struck the nerve throughout Downtown, Los Santos. After a recent death of a known drug user, Charlie Kao, the community in Chinatown has outraged and spoken up to the government of Los Santos. Locals claim that the Wan Chai Tong is forming a union between many families, associates and friends to bring a stop to this epidemic that punctures hurt emotions in many. A man by the name of Joey Cheung, local of Chinatown, says he sees inner problems of the Chinese American population coming together to form a union that benefits the people. A lady by the name of Rachel Gonzalez claims it is just racism against non Chinese Americans to help only help their own kind in tough times. She quotes, "It's a big problem for the rest of us who live in Chinatown too. Where is our support from their halls or whatever you wanna call them? They don't give us lessons for English, financial help for schooling and other necessities needed. We want the help too!"

3 DEAD, MORE DEAD LATER
The year of the pig is passing by us, and also lives are passing by. 3 victims of the Chinatown community got gunned down earlier from what appears to be an altercation between two groups. LSPD has identified the victims as Kate Xie, Peter Luk and Kenny Cho. What initially started as a brawl, turned out to be a deadly gunfight in the end as if it was a wild west film. Police are still looking for suspects and ask anybody who has witnessed the shootout to contact their local department. You can call LS-CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-800-395-3344 and stay anonymous.

Later on within the day, another shootout occurred near the SAN tower. Across the street was a rival gunfight whom one out of many victims was Mark Kwok, a middle aged man who had a weapon on their persons. LSPD and detectives claim that he has ties to Kate Xie whom both work within the same restaurant, "Wok The Fuh!?", where the first gunfight went on. Once again, LSPD are asking any witnesses to step forward, those who wish to stay anonymous, will. The GND found out Paul "Parrot" Choi, who operated a cell underneath the 14k triad from Hong Kong, escaped back to Hong Kong after Mark Kwok was slain. The O.C.T.B (Organized Crime and Triad Bureau) in Hong Kong claims Paul was an informant working for them when he was found. Since then, political tension rises between authorities between both countries as Paul has been found guilty for laundering money in "Wok The Fuh?!". Authorities in Los Santos claim Mark Kwok and Paul Choi have been the deadliest enforcers of Asian ethnicity in the history of Asian-American crime in the United States.

Generation 2: Chinatown
San Fierro's Hop Sing Tong
Image
During the last year of 2019, the commercial port of San Fierro housed roughly 60 different companies under one branch of sea-transportation via customs. The Hop Sing Tong in San Fierro had underworld financial assistance in laundering money through countless Chinese-American businesses in San Fierro. The Asian-American gang unit claims there could be more than 100 family owned restaurants, gyms, clubs and much more businesses that are are proxies to the secret triad societies of San Fierro, including that of the 14k of the Hop Sing and the Wo Hop To in various tongs. Authorities also claim that the port of Fierro is also being held to bring in an influx of potential ingredients to create Heroin, Fentanyl and other opioids that make our known opioid crisis known in many West coast cities. Those shares of ingredients are either brought in from South of the border or being shipped illegally through the waters from overseas, that's when Benjamin Huang, a public chairman figure for the Hop Sing Tong in San Fierro came in. After his position being promoted as a hard working man and being a high figure in the port authority allowed his corruption to hold the main key in the drug supply being transported from San Fierro to Los Santos. The gang unit believes that his position of the port was only granted because of an underworld clan mentality of an "election", where underworld societies of one tong (gathering hall) each individually vote for a leader to their outfit. The gang unit also claims it is an analogy, Detective Jason Chow says, "It's like the criminals of these underworlds openly claim they are criminals, except we have no legal way under our law to arrest these individuals or outfits. They continue to abuse our politics through slides and slopes under the law to get what they want and when they want. If one law changes? They find another loop hole to abuse our countries laws. It becomes even harder to tackle criminals because of different state laws, especially here in San Andreas. We can look at Senator Park in Los Santos for example. We have eyes on him, but we can't even touch him no matter what we believe is going on."
Image
During 2020, Senator Park won the state election in the Commerce district which led to local Chinatown businesses getting away with illegal laundering and laws regulating not only monitoring their activity but even giving the state a honorable day in Chinese-American heritage. Through the Hop Sing Tong and Senator Park, Chairman Huang and Senator Park were able to tackle issues in Chinatown's community that focus mainly on giving the underworld and both the community an edge over other districts. Gang crime in Chinatown has went down due to great implications of law being passed in Chinatown within the Commerce district. During the same year, Play Club Hong Kong was burnt down to the ground to which locals claimed it was not crime related and the gang unit believes it was an insurance fraud that the underworld pulled. The brackets pulled out through the books seen that the last two openings were not great openings and it possibly means poor management and extortion led to it being a failure. Around the same time the club burnt down,
Image
the outfit within Los Santos that was operating lowered in crime rates such as robberies, homicides and even drug related deaths in skidrow. Following the club burning down, the Asian gang unit claims it was most likely burnt down for a monetary gain for the criminal world operating and financing it. However, they also are left at no leads because the owner of the club was found inside, alone and alive during the fire breakout. The gang unit stopped their lead as they realized it was not likely that the owner of the club would burn down his own club, jeopardizing his own life for five figure insurance claims on the business. Authorities traced the insurance for the property and it led back to a share holder of the name Jenny Lam. With fingers pointed at her being the insurance fraudster, authorities were able to figure out who was apart of this underworld, especially the high figures, Benjamin, Chairman Huang of the Hop Sing Tong and Jenny Lam, apart of the same initial gathering hall.
Image
Detective Jason Chow also claims that these "triad" societies still conduct clan mentality styled rituals of slaughtering chickens, praying to ancient Chinese Gods like Guan Yu, Chang'e and other Dragon related shrines. After the fire department searched the club for the main cause of it burning down, Det. J. Chow noticed that there was a Jade Dragon figurine still well maintained with a broken shrine upstairs. This was their main lead on tracking down the underworld who follow these rituals of giving 36 oaths to any triad society figures being initiated into their brotherhood. They'll usually be blessed, prayed upon and sworn to take oaths of the 36 passages. Det. J. Chow says, "This is one of their oaths and I quote, 'I will always acknowledge my Hong brothers when they identify themselves. If I ignore them, I shall be killed by a myriad of swords'." Det. J. Chow continues to speak of their clan mentality and how important these rules are to secret societies. Currently, Jenny Lam is being watched under authorities. She is completely clean on her record and as long as she continues to work a certain amount of hours per month, she is allowed to stay on her work visa as she is an immigrant from Hong Kong. Her ties to the 14k in Hong Kong are probably why the connection between her and Chairman Huang are strong for the underworld. Police claim Marlton St. in Downtown is tied to Chinatown on Van Ness aswell as their businesses have few linked cases together.
Image
The body of Chairman, Benjamin Huang has been found inside a trucking facility riddled with bullets and cut open on the stomach. Det. J. Chow arrived on the scene once he heard of the victim's name and was informed. Nobody has suspicions of why Huang has died but Chow believes it is probably retaliatory to many possible reasons of a war between Los Santos and San Fierro possibly becoming the second generation of the 'Tong Wars' of what once used to be in New York City. Right now detectives are watching Huang's residence in San Fierro, anticipating that whoever murdered Huang would visit his family or associates in Fierro. Police aren't disclosing on how long they will be watching his residence. They claim the family is safe and will always be safe and watched over for their affiliation in these Chinatown wars. Witnesses say they seen a yellow sedan lit up in flames coming from the trucking facility which brought authorities over to seize the scene. What they explained were four East-Asian males in a black sedan driving out of there. The vehicle is still being looked for today as the security cameras can't point out the license plate number on it. Another witness claims one of the men had blood on their shirt as they were driving past the facility and Southbound to the interstate highway leading to Angel Pine. Later that day, the same vehicle was found in Los Santos to a shootout between some Europeans and those East Asian males just north of city hall. Two are dead, the other two are severely wounded and in ICU in ASGH. Authorities claim these two males are the main culprits of Benjamin Huang's death and are their tracing to the vehicle back in San Fierro.
