THE NEW ORDER
Europe, 1946. World War II rages across Europe. Where once the Allies pressed advantage, the Nazi forces have turned the tide in dramatic fashion behind the technologically advanced war machine of General Wilhelm Strasse -- Deathshead. When a final Allied assault on Deathshead's compound fails, the Allies’ greatest hope falls with it.

Europe, 1960. The war is over. And the Nazis are triumphant victors. Using unrelenting force and brutal intimidation, the Nazis have brought even the most powerful nations to their knees. The Nazi regime now rules the globe with an iron fist.

You are Captain B.J. Blazkowicz, the American War Hero. After emerging into this world of darkness, you must launch an impossible counter-offensive against the monstrous Nazi regime. Only you dare stand up against an unstoppable army of Nazi robots and hulking Super Soldiers. Only you can stop Deathshead. Only you can rewrite history.

The game is 43.65 GB. It's basically like playing COD but you're all alone through the campaign which is what I dislike.

I've always been interested to know what Wolfenstein is all about, it's set in world war 2 but it looks quite futuristic to me right? I love games based on history.

But it's still world war 2? Or is it the future ran by Germans?

Sounds so confusing, but none the less I am interested! I shall do my research and have a look in to it.

Wrong. This game take us several years back when the FPS genre was still new and fresh. It's nothing like Call of Duty and can never be compared to it. Let me remind everyone that Wolfenstein was the first WW2-based game to be released in 1981. And the first game that brought up the classic FPS genre in 1992. The New Order brings up all classic scenes the old games had and sends you on a nostalgia trip. Some sequences are also canon to the previous games.

The previous Wolfenstein games are set during World War II. However the New Order sends us 14 years ahead in time to a universe where Nazi-Germany won the war. The intro sequence of the game is set in 1946 during the final American offensive but "something" happens and we wake up in 1960. Where all the Nazi dreams and projects have come true. For instance Germania. And the protagonst from the old games are back in action to set things right.
