This is a mess, an irreversible mess.
I built it myself, 'cause I thought it was right.

Just asking here;
How reliable is DriverAgent?
Even if the site seemed suspicious enough I downloaded it and installed it, everytime I try running it, it just starts up then disappears. Also, can someone PM me, I need help with the downgrader :<

DriverAgent worked perfectly fine for me...on Nov 26, 2008 that is.

I don't know how it is now.

Compatibility
This is the most common "fix" for most problems. Right click your gta_sa.exe (or samp.exe if you're experiencing client problems) and goto properties. Enter the compatibility tab and check the box that says Run this program in compatibility mode for:. Select the Windows XP (Service Pack 2) option. After that, check the box that says Disable desktop composition. Click OK. If this fails, repeat the steps but instead choose Windows 98 as the compatibility option.

Where is the box that says desktop composition, in the red BOLD lettering?

The eax.dll file hosted on filefront seems to have disappeared, could someone re-upload it for me?

Sometimes I crash when I alt+tab (I'm a vista user).
Will this:
d3d9.dll
Delete the file d3d9.dll in your GTA:SA folder (wherever gta_sa.exe is at...you'll find the d3d9.dll file somewhere there).
solve the crashes?

Should do. If anything it will do nothing seeing as vista is DX10 and runs off dx10 files found in c:\windows

Back it up though, i might be wrong.

You need to re-do that "Download the newest SA:MP version" section.
It says : 0.2X
It must be 0.3A
