Sorry, I was under the impression that Obzen made it clear that people should shut the fuck up about it. Maybe I was wrong. This is Andrews faction and if he wants to change it up, it's not really any of your concern.undoit777 wrote:It is sad that some people have such a complex but it got approved so what can you do.Wazowski wrote:lmao.

Step inside the political arena...
LEGISLATURE PASSES FIRST BUDGET ITEM IN MONTHS
by CHERKASSKY
SEPT 1, 2016
The budget would fund leases for three major sanitation routes throughout the city of Los Santos.
The Summers Administration is off to a rough start when it comes to fulfilling their legislative obligations. The Representative Selection Committee, chaired by Mayor Summers, has not held a hearing since the start of the administration, leaving behind two vacancies in the State Legislature. Nevertheless, the gears are slowly starting to move again after the Appropriations Committee held a hearing this week to fund public-private ventures.
“We have a budget surplus that the city can tap. It's just the job of the committee to approve the funding,” Appropriations Chairman Jep Appelo said.
Under the September budget, the state will fund city leases of sanitation vehicles, fishing vessels, and agricultural combine harvesters. The aim of the city plan is to create incentives for entrepreneurship with a private-public partnership, and create jobs. Mayor Summers has not yet commented on how much these leases would cost companies. The plan was well received by members of the committee, including former DOC Deputy Warden, now State Representative Giovanni Poldilotta.
“Joblessness is rampant [in San Andreas]. That's no secret. In fact, that's about plain obvious to anyone who peeks out once a week,” Representative Poldilotta said at the hearing. “By investing in good paying, safe jobs for our citizens, we're going to do several things: A, we're going to make the economy better. That's a no-brainer. Sixth grade economics. B, we're going to improve the skill of our workforce. Workforce skill is a problem nation-wide. But we can do something about it here. And that's what we're doing. C, we're going to be putting our tax dollars to good use.”
The plan was passed unanimously by the attending members of the committee by voice vote. The state has appropriated $2,563,500 for the plan.
