LOS SANTOS – San Andreas Attorney General Attorney Page today announced that the Secretary of State, Sugely Cuevas, has been detained in a Los Santos County Sheriff's Department county jail awaiting trial under charges of Corruption of Public Office.
On the 7th of May, 2020, at 20:00 hours, Secretary of State Sugely Cuevas hosted a fundraising campaign in the Nixon Estate in Vinewood, San Andreas for a political party she is a ranking member of. This action is in violation of the "Stop Waste and Abuse By the Secretary Act of 2020", where Section 2 enumerates that State Employees are forbidden from using state resources in their own interest.
"This gross misplacement of taxpayer money, gathered to host an event dedicated to politicking for the Secretary of State's own party, will not be tolerated." said Attorney General Page. "Investigators of the Los Santos County District Attorney's Office were assisted by the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department Special Enforcement Bureau in removing Ms. Cuevas from the premises."
The hard-working deputies on scene then vacated the area with a cease and desist order, while the investigators headed to the Santa Clara Valley Sheriff's Station, where Secretary of State Sugely Cuevas wait for her court date.
