FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

JUNE 29TH, 2019



  • Lt. Gov. Carl Duncan today announced the appointment of Scott Lowenthal of Palomino Creek as the Director of the San Andreas Bureau of Elections.

    Dr. Lowenthal is a legal scholar and an expert on campaign finance laws. Lowenthal has served as Director of Public Affairs at the public relations firm Ashton & Mitchell, and was Executive Director for the Freedom Institute for ten years where he served as the think tank’s spokesperson and led the organization’s research teams to generate policy solutions to San Andreas’ political and economic challenges. Lowenthal holds a PhD in Public Policy from Los Santos University (LSU).

    Lowenthal’s primary responsibilities as Director of the Bureau of Elections will be to enforce electoral laws in coordination with the governor's office, administer campaign debates, maintain a database of campaign contributions and expenditures, and prepare polling places and voter precincts.
