The Los Santos City Government is currently operating a social housing scheme for a number of former military and law enforcement personnel, as well as serving state law enforcement personnel, under the Bureau of Welfare's Veterans and Peace Officers Affairs Program. The program allows applicants to rent an apartment in the complex photographed below for a fee of $500 (( 5,000 )) a month. Further information can be found by clicking this link.

TERMS OF RESIDENCE
- • The monthly free of $500 (( $5,000 )) must be paid to Los Santos City Government Welfare Officials on a monthly basis.
• No criminal activity is permitted inside the complex. This includes the possession of illegal contraband.
• Applicants who commit felony offences whilst benefiting from social housing will likely be evicted from the complex.
• Applicants may not occupy more than one apartment within the complex at any given time.
• Applicants will be held liable for any damages they are responsible for.
• Parking facilities are provided to the rear of the complex.
• It should be stressed that the services in this program are for former military personnel and former or current peace officers. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have been a fully inducted member of any of the following:
- Any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces
Any U.S. police department
Any U.S. county sheriffs department
Department of Corrections
Any federal law enforcement agency
Any other relevant organisation relating to defense or law enforcement (this will be handled on a case-by-case basis)
OR
Applicants must be able to demonstrate they are a serving member of any of the following:
- Los Santos Police Department
San Andreas Sheriff's Department
San Andreas Department of Corrections
- Any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces

The property will be fully handed over to the character who bought it, however, there are grounds for eviction, listed below:
*Inactivity exceeding 1 week without notice and a maximum of 3 weeks with prior notice.
*Namechanging the character which the property was bought on.
Repeated inappropriate behaviour.

For obvious reasons, actually selling a government-owned social housing property is forbidden out of character, whereas attempting to sell one would be considered fraud from an in-character perspective. Purchasing an apartment in a social housing project for the market price alone will result in immediate eviction.
Note: This program is designed for players who wish to roleplay relatively low income individuals who come from a military or law enforcement background, failure to obtain an apartment through IC means will result in immediate eviction.
