Re: The Business Update — Part II
I've been begging for business robberies without permission to be outlawed for years. Thanks for finally implementing this.

Yes lad! This is really good for county RP as people were shit scared to enter the businesses there because they were just robbery honeypots.

Especially leased business, it discouraged lease holders to open them as often as they perhaps wanted to.Gadz wrote:Yes lad! This is really good for county RP as people were shit scared to enter the businesses there because they were just robbery honeypots.

I hope this doesn't mean LEOs can't conduct general business/premise well being checks. I totally understand the nightlife LEO invasion thing though.

Best update ever. Especially banning law enforcement from entering businesses and not allowing brawls any longer. I still remember how law enforcement would just storm in, demand licenses and when the owners expressed their displeasure as they were busy attending to the guests, the cop would call for backup and two minutes later there'd be five more cops inside. Then they'd start asking guests to just leave, and would even arrest a few for 'obstruction' when the people were literally just out there to have a drink. Like they create issues out of nothing (like always) and get people indirectly involved in it, and start arresting them. This was an issue that had to be addressed and I'm glad it was.

No, a business check-up can still be done, but shouldn't exceed any more than once a month and be properly recorded so they are not done every time a business opens. Registration lasts a month, minimum, so that makes sense. The Police Department do not have the actual authority to go and check up on business licensing IC — they require a member of CITY Government present who is responsible for licensing, and can only accompany them in a protective capacity. Seeing as business licensing can easily be found via communication with CITY GOV, I encourage exploring that option too.Adorn. wrote:I hope this doesn't mean LEOs can't conduct general business/premise well being checks.
