As you have probably noticed the cleanup has happened and we all can probably agree that the TS3 server looks much cleaner than it was before and it's a little bit easier to browse through! This time, around
300 channels have been deleted which is a quite nice amount of channels! In case your channels has been wrongly deleted or you haven't noticed/knew about the cleanup, you can recover your channel by opening a ticket
here.
Please make sure to use the same email which you've used in the original ticket when creating the ticket so we can confirm it is actually you. If you can find your ticket in the ticket list when logging into the ticket system, you can also simply reply to the closed ticket saying your channel has been deleted.
For any questions/concerns, feels free to PM any of the staff members!
ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
IMPORTANT NOTE: This applies to all owners of Teamspeak channels under the "Private Channels - READ Description ----" channel. Official factions can ignore this post.
After a long time we've had no proper cleanup of the private channels within the Teamspeak 3 server we've decided to make a cleanup this year to tidy up the channel list a little bit! As of now the channel list is quite clogged with channels and the reason why we do this is to remove channels which are not used anymore to make it a little bit easier to browse through them and just to enjoy a cleaned Teamspeak server!
The
cleanup will be happening on the
21st of October .
The
last date to confirm that you want your channel to stay is the
20th of October.
If you have your own Teamspeak channel and you want to prevent it's deletion on the cleanup day, you will have to follow one (or both) of the following steps in order to keep the channel:
1) Edit your teamspeak channel's name and add [DO NOT DELETE - DD/MM/YY] to the end of it's current name. The date should be the date of when you've edited your channel, we will need this for future reference. Once the cleanup is over, we will remove this part from your channel's name. THIS PROCESS APPLIES TO SUB-CHANNELS AS WELL!
EXAMPLE: Everett's channel -> Everett's channel [DO NOT DELETE - 07/10/14]
2) Reply to this thread with the following form:
Code: Select all
Teamspeak channel: <TEXT>
Teamspeak name: <TEXT>
In-game name: <TEXT>
Once the form is submitted, we will edit your channel's name in the same way which was demonstrated in the first option. You will need to leave this information in the end of your channel's name if you want it to stay.
Channels owners which did not complete any of the above steps by the
20th of October will have their channels deleted. If you were unable to complete any of these steps by the date above and your channel got deleted, you will have to open a ticket
here with the required information in order to create the channel. You will have to use the same e-mail which you have used previously to request your channel to be created originally.
