04 ep 7 spoilers
Spoiler: show
After ep 7 I'm convinced this is already the best season, so great. Awesome to see Frank and Claire together again, the parallels between practicing speech and reality are great, especially when Frank and Claire are doing it. Seems like they are back in full force, and there's nothing more scary than two Underwoods coming at you.

I like the tension between those two in the start of the season but when they are united again, the show is much better. That last scene scared me, though.

Spoiler: show
The last scene was ruthless.

Was not a fan of the last episode.

To be honest, it kind of left a bad taste even though the actual ending was good.

Yeah, but I dunno, the ending seemed somewhat unrealistic, but what would I know. Hella hyped for season 5 though!!

I'm pretty sure it wasn't supposed to be as realistic as possible, maybe just like one of Frank's audience scenes(?). They literally left us hanging in there lusting for season 5.

If you're referring to them declaring war, well, it's a known tactic of many state leaders to go into conflict when their support at home is poor because it does often enough consolidate support and nationalist tendencies. Thatcher in the Falklands, Saddam in Iran, Hollande going into Mali and even Putin entering Syria.

Then putting them two together in the room with the final speech was just a dramatisation really to show how far their relationship has come and tbh, if realism is what you're gunning for in this, you're probably in the wrong show considering how far fetched a lot of this show is.
Spoiler: show
Can't think of the last President who threw a journo in front of a train and had his Chief of Staff out and about murdering girls in the desert.

Just makes good TV and it is pretty entertaining.

Awesome show, I just finished season 4. I think I'm gonna watch the whole thing again soon from the start. House of Cards is such a unique TV show.

Spoiler: show
It's coherent with the plot of the third season of the original House of Cards on BBC, where Francis Urqhuart also declares war as he faces massive domestic political resistance.

By my opinion, Season 4 is the best one. But the final episode of season 4 doesn't solve all problems for Underwood what was case in last 3 seasons so we have to wait 1 year to see what will happen' next... :?

not fun to watch, when Underwood became president
