/bizfurniture

Post by Alonzo. » Sun Nov 25, 2012 5:56 pm

Just like the system where house interiors can be /bareswitch and /furniture, add it to the businesses. Owners would be able to /bareswitch interiors and customize the business how he sees fit. Ofc any unrealistic furniture added would be punished by admin.

And possible for biz's to add whole new objects. For example if a player has a /buyitem biz and the interior of a gym, the player would be able to customize the interior and make it look more better which would improve the RP experience.

A biz with the interior like Tony's Liquor can become a vehicle parts shop like in the video below:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WFtTSHRRkk

A biz with Alhambra interior at /bareswitch can become a fight club arena.

A biz with caligula's basement interior can become a nice storehouse and chopshop RP interior.

These are just examples but imagine what can be done with /furniture for biz's.

Business interiors should stay as they are and the only people who should be able to edit them or add new ones should be those who are a part of the mapping team.
Although, I do support the idea of bringing this sysytem to the rooms that you can order for you business.
Or add an option in the Order-A-Room system to buy an empty room that you can design yourself.
For example, buy a 15x15 room that has a capacity of 40 items, a 20x20 room with a 60 object capacity, and et cetera.

Definitely should be done. People would be more interested in business role-play then and every business could have their own unique look instead of those old interiors that we're currently used to. Even the smallest touch could do nicely to the business and give them much more realistic feeling, depending on the situation.

Looking at the videos, then a whole new set of businesses could be just mapped for yourself just then.

Neutral on this one.

On one hand people can already add furniture to apartment halls and similar, so it would seem fair to be able to do it with a business aswell.

On the other, looking through interiors people posted, new /furniture'd businesses would look like crap. Not many people can limit themselves and make a nice business interior with just its main purpose - everyone would try to fit in a ridiculous amount of items that wouldn't fit in just to give that business more "functions".

No. You need to realize how this is done. In SAMP there are two ways how you can portray an interior - with objects or without them. The way with object is a simple interior from GTA - nothing out of ordinary. The "bare" ones are objects of empty interiors. Now, not every interior has a bare object, so this would not work. Using SAMPs feature to remove objects from the interiors wont work either as most of them are group objects (such as bed+nightstand+that+this).

Alongside of that, a lot of interiors (nightclubs, bars) are mapped by the mapping team. This would just disregard their work and make things a lot more complicated, not to mention that not everyone has a talent to decorate so it could end bad. I'm not against ability to add a few objects w/o bareswitch, but the simpliest solution is to let it be.

No.

I would have vouched for this suggestion if it was possible, but as MMartin wrote not every business interior has its bare mode without the objects being seen inside of it. Sadly, it's impossible, unless you want to limit this option to certain businesses only.

What if you don't bareswitch and are merely able to put furniture in over the current layout currently there?

It's all well and good the mapping team have done the interiors but they aren't the ones roleplaying there. If people place stupid furniture then it can easily be removed, as if people don't like it people will just not go to that place.
