This is as easier as it sounds, don't let Photoshop
scare you. It's quite a simple method and you're going to required to have Photoshop of course. I'm currently using Photoshop CS6 but I'm not sure that really matters. It's real simple as I've said and you shouldn't be having any problems.
2) Photoscape - DOWNLOAD1)
I capture my chat by doing /blindfold
, this turns the screen black excluding the SA-MP chat. After that's been blindfolded
and the chat is visible I then press F8.
It should save and I OPEN
it on Photoshop. Don't worry if there's advertisements and unwanted text you don't want included in the /blindfolded text, it's going to be fixed. Double tap the area
after you've decided that's the area you're going to crop.2)
Now for the next step under the layers it's going to be called Background
, if it's already a Layer 0
, don't worry about this skip. What you want to do is double click it
. Layer 0 will come up. You just want to click OK
Part 3 is where we take out the unnecessary text that we don't need. You see that big green advertisement? We want that gone along with other irrelevant text. We want to select the regional tool
Then you basically press and hold
and select the area you want gone then press the DEL
button on your keyboard. You should get a transparent gap
where you do it. It should look like this afterwards.4)
You want to head over to Layer 0, right click it then select Blending Options
. You want to click the two meters to anything after between 3 and 15
, it doesn't really matter. Do it to both meters then click OK. Should look like this.5)
You then want to add a New Layer
, right click it then Merge it down
. You then wanna click the FX
button and head to Stroke6)
Select your stroke to be 1 & make it your default so you won't be having to do it all the time you're gonna be doing now now because it should stick like that. When you click OK you should be done.7) OPTIONAL!
You could save it and export it as a .PNG file but that wouldn't feel right. I like my text together, so how I do that is select the regional tool
once again and select the text just below the one before it. Click CTRL + T
and it should be movable. I drag it up or down, depending on where I want it. After I fill the gap I double click it and it sticks in place.8)
You then want to hop onto Photoscape and open up the image I want to paste the text on. I select it from the Editor
then go to my Documents > GTA User Files > SAMP > screens > IMAGE.
After that's done you can select from the drop tab if you automatically want it in the centre, top left, bottom right etc. I usually go with the bottom left option.
You can then export it to whatever filename you wish to upload it as. The finished product should look like this.
9) If you don't want to use Photoscape to paste the layer on, just open both images, the blank image and the text. on the text one you want to select all (CTRL+A) then copy it (CTRL+C). Go over to the blank picture with no text and paste it (CTRL+V) and move it around when you type (CTRL+T) once you're satisfied with your image double tap it or click the TICK in the top right corner of the Photoshop application. You can then export it as a .png or .jpg — I'd prefer a .png and upload.ee to get the best quality.
