Why is this happening?
That's because Ted Lipman is fucking savage.
Great script, using this thanks.

I'll look into the issues at a later date, unfortunately I'm doubtful the script will convert well across the different versions of Photoshop... despite that, I'm going to upload a newer version soon.

Here's a preview of the 2px version:

The newer version that's previewed above will allow for either a 1 or 2px stroke on your text. Rather than having to manually cut the /blindfold text and make it transparent, the script'll do it all for you. All you need to do is copy and paste it across (and delete the unneeded lines).

I don't think the upload was updated yet.

If you studied SAMP's text pixel by pixel, you would have probably noticed how they do the outlining: pixel to the left, pixel to the right, two pixels above and two pixels below.
That's what I remember, at least.

They're also stretching Arial horizontally, whereas most people think they use plain Verdana.

There's no intentional bug fixes in this one, just an updated 2px version for those that want it.

Is this the one mentioned here?

Not entirely. It doesn't cut the text out for you yet.

I'm getting this for some reason, what have I done wrong?

EDIT:
This happens with the 2px version:

BTW, why did you add a transparency layer to the 2 px one?

Text is aliased in-game, with the script it's not. The transparency is there to try and replicate it.

I can adjust it for you, if you'd prefer a more specific version.

@Herbert_Callaway - I'll reply to your PM shortly.
