Nice guide, but most people in prison are terrible at RP, or go afk. Can come in handy for some new players, though.

To be honest, I always wanted to RP in the prison, after watching documentaries about prison gangs. Nice thread.

You should make this link appear in the chat everytime a prisoner logs in.

Re: [Guide] Realistic Roleplay in Prison
Is it realistic to have a dog walking around the prison constantly? I mean not like inspections, but all the time. I don't know, just haven't seen it in prison documentaries.

I know there have been prison programs where inmates raised dogs for the blind, but that's up to the DoC.

Nice guide, everyone who goes to LSP should read this so the prison is better to RP in.

Re: [Guide] Realistic Roleplay in Prison
Really great guide. One thing I could add to the idea of roleplaying fear inside LSP would be snitching.
In high level security prisons (assuming LSP is because it houses murderers), snitches are seen as the same level as paedophiles and child killers. People should take into consideration that snitches are a serious threat to other inmates and inmates would, realistically speaking, attack those inmates and try to injure or kill them. Now I'm not saying you can't snitch but if you're going to snitch please don't shout it across the cell block, in-front of guards and other inmates and especially the person you're snitching on. I find when I try to sell my drugs inside of LSP, half the time that inmate will run off and tell guards or shout right in front of me or make it blatantly obvious and I actually hate it because it's so unrealistic. Snitching to guards in prison is probably the equivalent to gang bangers calling the police.

Re: [Guide] Realistic Roleplay in Prison
Roleplaying as a prison guard is similar to prisoner roleplay. If you are the new man on the job, I doubt you would walk around the prison hitting well known gang members with your baton. Roleplaying fear of the prisoners is very important, and it's a two-way street. If you don't want them attacking you, give them their space when it's realistic to do so. I've seen a lot of guards spray mace around like it's Febreze, and before you do so you should realize that pepper spray inside a cell will mess everybody up that is inside. Pepper spray in a closed space is not good for the user and the victim. But my main advice to the prison guards, is to get involved with the prisoners lives. As a prison guard, you are not just there to break up fights, and let people out of their cells. There is an endless list of interactions a prisoner and a guard can have, and there should always be interactions between the two, otherwise the prison will go back to being inactive and boring. As well as that, guards should create a set list of rules for the prisoners to follow, and rulebreakers should be fined or sent to the boot.
I wish more gaurds would do this, I really would like to RP a gaurd-prisoner relationship because I know how much fun it could be. Nice guide and videos by the way.
I aint gotta move I got drillers that shoot, they're a bunch of misfits.

Nice guide. I liked the videos.
I, Gregory_Juniper, will join the probation group in order to serve my debt to Los Santos Role Play. I choose to follow the rules inside of the group as followed. I am fully aware that the tasks involved can change and or even expand as the leads see fit. I will agree to a ban if I can not fulfill the groups purpose!
