Faith No More

Post by Trumavarium » Sun Feb 24, 2013 6:33 am

An alternative/experimental funk-metal band. Extremely good to be honest. Also a lot of rap influences, which is quite unique and cool.

GTA San Andreas actually got one of their songs in the radio channel called "Radio X".

Radio X got me into listening FNM.
Awesome band, awesome vocals.
And as a fading red iron-cross shaped tail light disappeared down a bombed out highway, the only sound louder than a tricked out Shovelhead skull bound for glory, was the rusty laughter of the devil himself. His work here was finally done.

Tony Hawk's Underground 2, GTA San Andreas and MTV got me listen to them. With 'Midlife Crisis' and 'Epic'. They're most certainly not one of their best songs, but they're good.

I thought I was the only one here on LSRP who liked them, haha. Seen Mike Patton live once, with Tomahawk; one of his side projects. He's an epic live performer, I have to say. Really entertaining and such a great vocalist.

I don't know why, but the hook at the end of "Midlife Crisis" where like, there's two people singing different stuff, trips the fuck out of me.

They've basically just put the same loop in the middle of each other.
[Starts here ------------------------------------- Ends here]
[------------------ Ends here-Starts here ------------------]

I don't know how many times I've been singing that song on karaoke, live in front of people (RIP to those people), and I've been so confused, because I want to sing the "other" side of it, than what the lyrics say.

Either way, you have any favourite song(s)?

Anything from the angel dust album, jizzlobber, BE AGGRESSIVE, i listen those from time to time.
But Midlife crisis has been spammed into my brain by K-DST, so that's my no.1

Faith no more had a gig in a rock festival where I've been for last 3 days, holy shit that moment when Midlife Crisis started playing. And their song called Epic, that shit indeed was epic!
