Yes, of course, in all protests there is a small group of violent people but that shouldn't get in the way of the main peaceful protesters.

Also, Freedom of Speech allows people to protest on whatever they feel like as long as it is peaceful and controlled, so yeah.
@bold text: If that's the case, why did Tommy Robinson's demonstration get closed down because of Antifa throwing bottles into the crowd?

You seem deluded as fuck. Things like this happen in real life and protests are consistently shut down if either party gets violent. Do your research before looking like a big pansy because you didn't get your own way, which I assume is overpowering the Police Department and Sheriff's Department in a protest with less people than law enforcement involved.

If you wanted to outnumber the police in your protest, maybe you should've got more protesters involved.

This'll probably get locked because I know ls-rp admins don't like it when people tell the truth and discuss real shit, but yeah
There's no grand conspiracy at play here, you just need to ask yourself what good will come of a back and forth between two parties on such a subject.

I don't doubt that there may have been some malpractice somewhere along the lines, but the general discussion board will only further exacerbate any out-of-character conflict. If you've got a complaint file it to Surreal, who serves as the interim Head of Legal Factions. If you wish to make a faction specific complaint, you can message Adio for anything pertaining to the Los Santos Police Department, Surreal for the San Andreas Sheriff's Department, or myself for complaints that relate to the San Andreas State Government.

That should clear up any confusion in regards to where you should go if you wish to raise your concerns through an official medium.

but the thing is, there was only a small minority of people who were doing shit, most people were genuinely protesting.
That's how the LA riots started, they actualy had to deploy the national guard for this one, so yeah go figure how serious this one went eh?
That's how the Pittsburg riots started
That's how the baltimore riots started
That's how every/itteration/of the G-conference riots started.

Do I need to continue?

The majority were attacking each other and police officers. The order was given to stop the protest once people tried to charge city hall and "kill the mayor"

Someone didn't read the part of designated free speech zones / penal code and should probably go do that now to prevent himself from looking like a noob any further.

And no, this will get locked because this is yet another topic of someone ranting against PD/SD that serves no actual purpose besides venting.
Designated free speech zones? So this /is/ communist China? Do you have a link to this supposed legislation?

This has been a thing for ages and is a thing in many large cities in America. You can't launch a massive, road-clogging protest without some sort of police response.

If this is the case then why are extremists allowed to carry out there death to the west chants, but a troll saying "kill the mayor" accounts for everyone in the entire protest

Because cunts in this world are too politically correct and if you kick off on a muslim chanting anti-west propaganda Holy Land of Islam shit, you get ridiculed and called a racist. (queue a warning for my facts there <)

I also fully back the protest being shut down for someone inciting death to a Government official. It would essentially happen in real life before the situation escalated and someone did in fact try and assassinate the Mayor. It's called Close Protection for a reason by police forces all across the world.

There's a difference between the US and UK. The US has thousands of police departments and sheriff's departments with policies. Some are highly trained, some aren't. Most major city police forces are heavily trained and drilled in crowd control.

Heed the advice of the staff members in the thread. If you have an issue with specific faction members, you should make motions to report those people via the correct channels, as opposed to make a thread that attempts to slander two factions of upwards of 400 people. From the media I have seen offering perspectives of that "riot" — this is definitely not a cut and dry situation. Many thanks.
