1. Introduction

With easy-to-use commands, amazing features and an ever growing community to back it up, the Drug System plays an important role here in our dear server. Whether you want to produce, distribute, consume, confiscate or maybe even prescribe drugs — the opportunities are limitless, rest assured. With two exclusive jobs to offer and more than twenty four items in the script, this system is bound to leave you out of breath.

Before you keep on reading, we'd like to remind you that Los Santos Roleplay does not promote or endorse the usage of drugs in real life. And remember — the script is here to enhance role-play, not replace it. Good luck and have fun.

2. Commands

2.1 General

    /drughelp
    • Shows a list of all drug related commands.
    /mydrugs
    • Shows you a list of the drugs that are currently in your possession.
    /vehdrugs
    • Used to show what drugs are inside of a vehicle.
    /givedrug
    • Self explanatory, give a drug to another player.
    /dropdrug
    • Drop a drug package.
    /testdrug [slot]
    • To see the strength of one of your drugs.
    /pd [slot] [amount]
    • Use this to place a single drug package in a vehicle/house.
    /pad [emote]
    • Use this to place all of your drugs in a vehicle/house.
    /td [vehicle slot] [amount]
    • Use this to take a drug from a vehicle/house.
    /tad [emote]
    • Use this to take all drugs from a vehicle/house.
    /usedrug [slot] [emote]
    • Use a drug that's in your possession.
    /propdrugs
    • Shows the drug inventory of a house.
    /myingredients
    • Shows you a list of the ingredients that are currently in your possession. Maximum amount is 50,000.
    /giveingr [playerid/playername] [slot] [amount] [emote]
    • Use this to give ingredients to other players.

    • Turns your character into a Drug Dealer. Command can be used by anyone, but only at blackmarkets.

2.2 Restricted

LAW ENFORCEMENT ONLY:
    /takedrugs
    • To remove all drugs and ingredients from someone's possession.
MEDICAL STAFF ONLY:
    /prescribe [playerid/playername] [drug name] [amount]
    • Prescribes a legal drug.
DRUG DEALERS ONLY:
Drug Smugglers have access to all Drug Dealer commands apart from /buy.

    /mix [ingredient/cocaine] [amount]
    • Use this to mix ingredients.
    /mymix
    • Use this to see your current mixture.
    /mymix refresh
    • Returns all ingredients/drugs from your current mixture back into your inventory.
    /createdrug
    • Use this command to fuse all ingredients from /mymix together and create drugs.
    /extract
    • Use this inside of a house to extract heroin from opium poppies or LSD from morning glory seeds.
    /buy [itemid] [amount]
    • Use this at drug stores to see a list of purchasable items. Only /invited members of official factions can access this. You can't buy more than 100 ingredients/drugs within the limits of a single command.
DRUG SMUGGLERS ONLY:
Drug Smugglers have access to all Drug Dealer commands apart from /buy.

    /ordersmuggle
    • To order smuggle products for your faction's blackmarket — each one costs $45.
    /smuggleproducts
    • To see how many smuggle products your faction's blackmarket has.
    /buildsmuggle [itemid] [amount]
    • To add an order to your current smuggling mission. Command can be used anywhere. You can have a maximum of 4 orders per smuggle.
    /mysmuggle
    • To see the contents of your current mission.
    /clearsmuggle
    • To clear out what you've built up so far in your mission.
    /requestsmuggle
    • To request the orders you've built so far. This command can be used only when you're near an active blackmarket owned by your own faction — one that has enough products for your mission. It takes approximately 30 minutes for your order to arrive in the form of barrels.
    /checksmuggle
    • To check what items your barrels contain.
    /collectsmuggle
    • To collect all items from a barrel.
    /plant
    • To plant herb seeds — your faction can have a maximum of 10 active /plants at a time.
    /checkplant
    • To check the growth level of your marijuana plants.
    /takeplant [1-5]
    • Harvests marijuana. The command can be used only on plants that have passed through at least one payday. If /takeplant isn't used on plants that have stayed in-game for more than 7 paydays, they will wither and be removed. The more paydays your plants go through, the better your marijuana will be in terms of strength.

      The [1-5] addition to this command represents the amount you're going to take — the more it is, the less potent your marijuana will be. (e.g. 5 packages having 20str each; 1 package with 100str; etcetera)

3. Acquirable Items

There's two different drug types, legal and illegal. One can be acquired from Los Santos' Fire Department while the other from blackmarkets and drug stores. Despite the fact that illegal drugs initially do come from official factions, the script does not render unofficial groups useless. In fact, it promotes role-play on all levels of the chain because access to drug manufacturing isn't restricted. Any character with the right connections, ingredients and equipment can create drugs.

Every drug has different side-effects — some positive, others negative. However, there is one thing that all illegal drugs except marijuana share — they're addictive. After your character consumes a drug, a state of euphoria that can last from 10 to 25 minutes may kick in unexpectedly. While in such a condition, your screen will begin to shake, flashy colours may go on and off; you'll be experiencing weather changes as well — effects vary from drug to drug. Your chacater will also begin to lose health — worry not, though, the script won't kill you even if you're close to death.

While in such a state, you can either go to a doctor for legal drugs that may cure you or use the drug you're currently addicted to in order to make your character's suffering subside. The last alternative would be to just wait it out, since the addiction level goes down a few points every hour — the problem will indeed settle down eventually.

3.1 Legal Drugs

Can be prescribed by the hospital staff of LSFD.

Extracted from opium poppies by Drug Dealers. Opium poppies are smuggled in by Drug Smugglers.

@ POSITIVES
  • Health goes up with 5 every 12 seconds until it reaches its max health bonus;
  • Has a max health bonus of 65;
  • Lowers hunger level by (MAX_HEALTH_BONUS/10);
  • Slow motion mode and weather effects;
@ NEGATIVES
  • If it's the person's first time taking the drug their addiction level will rise by 3;
  • If addicted to the drug already the addiction level will go up by 3+random(4);
  • If addicted to another drug the addiction level will go up by 2;
  • If addiction to another drug is around 14 or lower they will get hooked on heroin instead;

Extracted from morning glory seeds by Drug Dealers. Morning glory seeds are bought from drug stores by Drug Dealers.

@ POSITIVES
  • Health goes up with 2 every 4 seconds until it reaches its max health bonus;
  • Has a max health bonus of 50;
  • Lowers hunger level by (MAX_HEALTH_BONUS/10);
  • Slow motion mode and shaky screen;
@ NEGATIVES
  • If it's the person's first time taking the drug their addiction level will rise by 3;
  • If addicted to the drug already the addiction level will go up with 3+random(5);
  • If addicted to another drug the addiction level will go up by 2;
  • If addiction to another drug is around 14 or lower they will get hooked on LSD instead;

A result of mixing the ingredients Hydrogen Peroxide, Formic Acid and Isosafrole. The base of the drug is 2x HyP, 9x FA and 3x ISO — it's up to you from this point on to find a proper formula for ecstasy with better quality.

@ POSITIVES
  • Health goes up with 5 every 8 seconds until it reaches its max health bonus;
  • Has a max health bonus of 50;
  • Lowers hunger level by (MAX_HEALTH_BONUS/10);
  • Flashy weather and shaky screen;
@ NEGATIVES
  • If it's the person's first time taking the drug their addiction level will rise by 5;
  • If addicted to the drug already the addiction level will go up by 5+random(5);
  • If addicted to another drug the addiction level will go up by 4;
  • If addiction to another drug is around 10 or lower they will be hooked on to ecstasy instead;

Bought from blackmarkets by Drug Smugglers.

@ POSITIVES
  • Health goes up with 7 every 10 seconds until it reaches its max health bonus;
  • Has a max health bonus of 70;
  • Lowers hunger level by (MAX_HEALTH_BONUS/10);
  • Weather effects;
@ NEGATIVES
  • If it's the person's first time taking the drug their addiction level will rise with 3;
  • If addicted to the drug already the addiction level will go up with 3+random(6);
  • If addicted to another drug the addiction level will go up by 2;
  • If addiction to another drug is around 15 or lower they will get hooked on cocaine instead;

Drug Smugglers can purchase herb seeds from blackmarkets and then /plant them, thus producing marijuana.

@ POSITIVES
  • Health goes up with 3 every 15 seconds until it reaches its max health bonus;
  • Has a max health bonus of 45;
  • Lowers hunger level by (MAX_HEALTH_BONUS/10);
  • Comes with a cigar object and a smoking animation when on foot;
@ NEGATIVES
  • Raises hunger level by (MAX_HEALTH_BONUS/9);

A result of mixing the ingredient baking soda with cocaine.

@ POSITIVES
  • Health goes up with 15 every 5 seconds until it reaches its max health bonus;
  • Has a max health bonus of 75;
  • Lowers hunger level by (MAX_HEALTH_BONUS/7);
  • Weather effects;
@ NEGATIVES
  • If it's the person's first time taking the drug their addiction level will rise with 4;
  • If addicted to the drug already the addiction level will go up with 4+random(6);
  • If addicted to another drug the addiction level will go up by 3;
  • If addiction to another drug is around 20 or lower they will get hooked on crack instead;

A result of mixing the ingredients Muriatic Acid, Lye, Diethyl, Ether and Ephedrine. The base of the drug is 3x MA, 7x LYE, 4x DIE, 7x ETH and 3x EPH — it's up to you from this point on to find a proper formula for methamphetamine with better quality.

@ POSITIVES
  • Health goes up with 10 every 13 seconds until it reaches its max health bonus;
  • Has a max health bonus of 50;
  • Lowers hunger level by (MAX_HEALTH_BONUS/7);
  • Weather effects;
@ NEGATIVES
  • If it's the person's first time taking the drug their addiction level will rise with 3;
  • If addicted to the drug already the addiction level will go up with 3+random(3);
  • If addicted to another drug the addiction level will go up by 2;
  • If addiction to another drug is around 11 or lower they will get hooked on methamphetamine instead;

@ POSITIVES

@ NEGATIVES

  • If addicted to another drug the addiction level will go up by 1;
  • If addiction to another drug is around 7 or lower they will get hooked on PCP instead;

4. Available Jobs

You can choose to either be a Drug Dealer or a Drug Smuggler. Both jobs can be acquired from blackmarkets using the commands /drugjob and /smugglerjob. Only /invited members of official factions can become Drug Smugglers.

4.1 Drug Dealer

The first job you're going to come across is the Drug Dealer one. Unlike the Drug Smuggler, it's available for everyone, not just /invited members of official factions. With it, you have access to the following abilities:

  • You're able to /mix different ingredients into drugs — in particular, ecstasy and methamphetamine;
  • You're able to /mix baking soda with cocaine and produce crack;
  • You're able to /extract heroin from opium poppies and LSD from morning glory seeds;
  • If you're /invited in an official faction that has a drug store, you'll have access to /buy;
As you can see on the following screenshots where we fuse Hydrogen Peroxide, Formic Acid and Isosafrole, the /mixing commands aren't that hard to use. Be warned though, if you're adventurous enough to try out formulas different than the ones given in this guide, you may create duds and lose your /mixed ingredients. On the other hand, there's a chance for you to create drugs with better strength.

Learn from trial and effort while experimenting and you may even discover a 100 strength recipe!

Crack is different, though — not only does the strength increase when larger quantities are mixed, but also the produced amounts. The possibilities are truly endless.

Apart from the command /mix and all of its features, you'll also have access to /extract. Again, you'll need ingredients to actually use it. With /extract, you're able to turn opium poppies into heroin and morning glory seeds into LSD.

Not only will you need ingredients for this to work, but also a property where you have access to the /cmdspot.

After typing in the command, a process of extraction is launched that takes about 2 to 4 hours to finish. Once that time is over, all newly created drugs are automatically deposited into the house's /propdrugs inventory. You won't need to stay online for this to work by the way, you can log in and out freely while waiting for your drugs to be created. The way /extract works right now is 1 drug per ingredient. (e.g. if you /extract 100x poppies, you'll receive 100x heroin)

There's also one more feature you'll have access to if you're /invited to an official illegal faction — the /buy command in drug stores. It allows you to purchase baking soda, steroids, PCP and ingredients for ecstasy and methamphetamine.

4.2 Drug Smuggler

  • Able to /plant and harvest marijuana;
  • Able to purchase cocaine, opium poppies and herb seeds at their own blackmarkets;
  • Have access to all Drug Dealer commands apart from /buy;
The Drug Smuggler job grants you access to baking soda, cocaine, marijuana and heroin. It also allows you to use all Drug Dealer commands, with the exception of /buy. Anyone /invited in an illegal official faction can acquire this job, regardless of level. In the first segment of this sub-section, we're going to introduce you to blackmarkets, explain how they operate and point out some of the important things you have to keep in mind while playing as Drug Smugglers.

Ordering items through blackmarkets can indeed be tricky, therefore we're going to demonstrate how it all works step by step. Unlike the Drug Dealer's /buy command where money is directly deducted from your character's inventory whenever purchasing things, the blackmarkets work with a completely different system. In order for you to order items as a Drug Smuggler, you need to first load your faction's blackmarket with products.

You can check how many smuggle products are at your disposal by typing in /smuggleproducts near your blackmarket.

As you can see on the screenshot, the blackmarket where this demonstration is being held at has only 181 products. What you have to understand now is that 1 product doesn't cost $1, but $45. Here are the prices of all available goods:

......1x cocaine costs 3 products = $135

In this example, we're going to be ordering herb seeds and opium poppies. A single mission can hold a maximum of 400 packages, we're going to order 200 of each item. But before we do that, we must load the blackmarket with products.

......200x opium poppies cost 400 products = $18,000

After this simple calculation, we've discovered that we need 600 products for our mission to start. We already have 181, so we'll just have to purchase 419 more. First of all, ensure that you have the needed amount of money on you. Then, approach the blackmarket and type in "/ordersmuggle [amount-of-products-needed]". Here's how it looks like:

As you can see, we're ready to proceed. Type in /buildsmuggle to see a list of items available to you and begin adding things to your current mission. You can use /mysmuggle at any given moment to see what you've ordered.

Once done find a suitable place near your blackmarket and use /requestsmuggle. The needed products will be deducted from your faction's blackmarket and you'll be prompted with the following message:

Once the time has passed, you'll receive a message. What you ordered will indeed arrive, regardless of whether or not you're online. If you've already logged out, everyone else that's /invited and online will be alerted. To receive your goods, simply return to the spot where you did /requestsmuggle and collect your goods!

Planting and harvesting marijuana is relatively easier, the entire process revolves around 3 commands: /plant, /checkplant and /takeplant. The function of the first one, of course, is self-explanatory — right after you type it in, a set of plants is spawned in your current location, right beneath your character's feet. A single official faction can have a maximum of 10 of these at the same time — if you plant 10 herb seeds, your fellow members are not going to be able to use /plant until your crops are harvested. You're able to use /plant anywhere, outside and inside of interiors.

Abuse of /plant is a serious offense that may result in punishments not only for you, but for your faction as well.

Now that you have your seeds planted, you'll be able to type in /checkplant whenever near your crops. With this command, you can keep track of your plants' progress. The bigger growth level they have, the better your marijuana will be in terms of quality once you harvest it. Growth level represents the paydays your plants have passed through — the minimum is 1, the maximum 6. At level 7, crops wither and are removed from the game. It also needs to be mentioned that as growth level rises, so does the size of plants. At least one payday has to pass before you can harvest!

Whether you stay in-game or not doesn't really matter — as long as your crops pass through at least one payday, you'll be able to collect actual marijuana from them. So what exactly does happen when you decide to harvest them? Well, you're prompted with a question — how many packages of marijuana do you want to collect. You can pick from 1 to 5 — the less quantity you choose, the more potent your marijuana will be. With a bit of effort, one can even achieve 100 strength.

5. Frequently Asked Questions

    Q: What are drug stores and blackmarkets?
    A: Exclusive properties available only to official illegal factions.

    Q: Where can I store my ingredients?
    A: You can't store them anywhere — they're not visible in your inventory upon frisks, though.

    Q: What are the ingredient IDs used in /mix? Aren't they the ones from /myingredients?
    A: The command /mix uses shortened ingredient names, not numerical IDs. (e.g. hyd, iso, mur)

    Q: I'm low on health and my drug addiction just kicked in, what should I do? I'm about to die!
    A: Worry not, the current script is designed to not kill players in such situations.

    Q: Can I use /extract in more than one house in the same time?
    A: Yes, even in houses that your character doesn't own.

So, is there a way I can roleplay something unofficial with these, something like a crew. Buying ingredients for cheaper, mixing them and selling the mix after for more expensive than that?
