Calling for increased cooperation and independence between government organizations.

IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF LOS SANTOS

December 12, 2010

Mayor Keane submitted the following resolution; which was referred directly to the City Council

RESOLUTION


Calling for increased cooperation and independence between government organizations;

Whereas, disrespect between government organizations has led to increased tensions and anger;

Whereas, actions taken by some departments has made the possibility of others functioning independently impossible;

Whereas, departments have worked against each other in a grab for power;

Whereas, government organizations have impeded on the right of others to function properly;

Whereas, all governmental organizations must work with each other to accomplish realistic goals;

Resolved, members of all governmental organizations including, but not limited to, the Los Santos City Government, the Los Santos Police Department, the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services, and the San Andreas Sheriff's Department, are immune from hasty prosecution without full review from the pertaining organizations. Members of all governmental organizations will be immune from prosecution except in either, extreme cases of negligence or by their own internal affairs. Members of all governmental organizations may be detained until handled by their own department without foreign interference excluding investigations by the district attorney. In addition all communication over department radio must be kept formal and respectful. Failure to follow C.C. Res 1 may result in a fine to further sanctions.

((I want to clarify on this law with recent developments that the authority of a government agency to enact against another cannot fall under arresting someone. AKA a PD member cannot arrest an SD member on duty. Instead, a private resolution between the factions can be made OR a criminal lawsuit can be filed in the Supreme Court to call for action legally))

The language of this bill has been updated to include the change of name from Los Santos Emergency Services to Fire Department and include both the Department of Justice and Department of Corrections.

This act has been replaced by the contents of the State Constitution
