House Adresses & Owners

Post by hashtagelectro » Sun Jan 29, 2017 4:19 pm

Hello guys, after the last update, when you enter a property's checkpoint you don't get the Owner's name anymore because of the MG that was made because of this feature.
I suggest that you would be able to call a number, in this case, I would suggest 1-800-GOV and to give the respective address to a guy in the respective function, and he would be able to find the Owner via a DataBase that would be only available for them, so, for any reason, you could call that number and ask who's the owner of the specified address and if they are agreed with your reason, they would give you the Owner's name and possibly his number, from case to case.

This way, everything will be IC, everyone will be happy and no MG. :D

This seems like an addition for the MDC. It wouldn't hurt anyone but... why? :D

Supporting. Everything would then be found out through roleplay and that's great.

This is already a thing. When you submit a form on lsgov.us (licensing checks, aircraft registration, etc) then you add your address. They can search through their database for your address and it'll return your name.

If you don't give your address to LSGOV then they won't have your name and address on record.

Take this Marriage License for example:
2. Full Name: Kassandra Young
3. Address: 2C Victoria Low Rise, Mildred Avenue, Los Santos 313, San Andreas
The government can search for '2C Victoria Low Rise' (this would be apartment 2C in the Victoria complex) and they get Kassandra's full name.

The police can also do this (i.e. if you apply for a PF license or have a criminal record)

If only allowed for authorities, then yes. Seeing that normal civilians wouldn't post their information publicly and the government wouldn't give personal information to randomers.

This is similar to phone numbers. If you want someone's phone number, you don't simply call the government and check it. You instead check your resources or maybe ask a friend in the police/sheriff department.
