Hey,
This release post will mark the start of something new. As part of an initiative to keep the community in the loop with what's going on behind the scenes, my future revisions will generally be accompanied by a post that will offer a bit more of an insight into what implementations have been made, and why. The exact nature of these posts is going to be experimental for the time being, however - the general concept will always remain the same.
This week, I'm introducing a minor revision which is primarily targetted at tackling a backlog of outstanding requests from official legal factions. Naturally, this will be a little boring for many players - but for those on the illegal side of things, I'm able to offer a bit of good news. As part of this update, I've put together a new command which will allow Level 2+ Game Admins to process drug refunds. With an influx of requests coming in following my last post, this should help ease the process meaning that you'll be able to get your drugs sooner. For factions partaking in the Drug Distribution Scheme, it also means that there will be greater availability from members of Faction Management. I'm serious about getting things back on track and minor changes like this should help streamline the process involved in reestablishing the drug market.
As well as some exciting new additions to the drug update, I've got a revised system for elections in the works. The updates I plan on introducing to the election process will serve as the backbone to the restructuring of the State Senate, and more importantly, will allow us to take the next step required to encouraging a thriving political roleplay environment. If all goes to plan, you should be able to see the new election system in play at some point over the course of the next week or so. I'm still on track for a revision to the drug update to be released on August 21st of this month, and it's not too late to send any of your ideas my way! My inbox is always open and I'd love to hear what minor changes and/or implementations you'd like to see.
Version 10.5.11 will be deployed to the main server at 03:00 on 07 August 2017.
