No, stabdalon garages aren't meant to replace houses, so spawning in them isn't enabled, neither is renting.
What if you want to roleplay living in said garage? I've seen people living in garages before.

Fair point, and I agree with that.
However, don't you think you it's necessary for there to be some sort of script to allow other players who do not own the garage to be able to unlock/lock it?

We all know that the main roleplay that garages will bring to factions will be repair shops, mod shops, chop shops, and even hang-out spots for racing factions etc. There's so much possibility for factions to roleplay with garages now, but if it's limited to only one person being able to lock/unlock it, it's going to be difficult for the faction.

Perhaps introduce the same script that businesses use where you can only give out 2-3 keys out for it maximum at a time, so other leaders from the faction roleplaying there will be able to open it when necesarry without having to wait for the owner to come online?

Few suggestion after a bit with my garage:
-A way to hand keys to others (/rent or /hire)
-I RP a legal character but I assume most illegal players buying those garages will use them to store drugs/weapons, so a /cmdspot would be useful.
-Perhaps an empty interior option, since /bareswitch doesn't work for stand-alone garages.

Bugs:
-I have a chipchop list in my garage...
