Colonial Watts Avenue XXVII

1970. Angel was living in the suburbs of Houston working the night time shift at a gas station. His job paid decently well, and he was saving for college. Angel was a young man, around on his mid-twenties, but he couldn't have been less than six feet two inches in height. He appeared to be a man of strong character, with a thick, hanging lip and a long straight chin.
It was early in the morning, around 4 AM when a loud and authoritative tap was banged upon the door waking Angel up immediately. To his surprise, the loud bang was generated by a beautiful young lady. She was plainly but neatly dressed. She started screaming towards Angel, as she was constantly looking behind her back. Angel took the office shotgun, which was firmly tucked behind the desk, and blazed outside in a rush. He saw a man which was attempting to forcefully make his way into his 69 Chevy. Angel's intuition took the best of him as he rushed to the man and cocked his shotgun, aiming at him. The man, who was deeply panicked by the situation, turned around and waved his hands up in the air, motioning Angel that he was just trying to escape the scene. Angel realized that, but as soon as he was about to drop the shotgun, he heard a shot and instinctively took a shot at the middle aged man trying to start his car. The other bullet had been of the real culprit, who had now taken flee as he brushed his way out with his car.

Angel was sentenced to eight years in prison for involuntary manslaughter. During the time in prison, he had received letters and kept a steady correspondence with Maria, the woman at the gas station who was being robbed at the time. It could go as far as saying that there was romance between them. On the other side of the cell, Angel had a hard time fitting in. He had two choices laid upon him, one- to not claim any affiliation with any prison gang, and two- claim affiliation in order to get protection. He was constantly being pushed around, and even though in mass and muscle quite more advanced, he simply couldn't put three or four men away at the same time. He decided enough was enough, and claimed affiliation with a Hispanic prison gang called "Nuestra Familia". Angel didn't know what he was up for. In order for him to get full protection from the gang, he had to spill out the first blood. A first blood for a newly soldier, means that is the significance at getting in the gang, killing someone to prove yourself worthy. What had to be done, had to be done. Angel took out the sharp dagger, which was made from bed metal, and strangely enough from cigarettes. After making some suspicious steps towards his victim, a forty year old black male who was known as a child rapist, he struck him trice on his back, leaving him dead there. He paced quickly out of his cell and headed back to the rendezvous. He threw the dagger away, and was soon in order of being the gang's newest militant. Two months later, he was tatted up, and had already made his way throughout the ranks. He still kept in contact with Maria. She visited him once a month.
Image

He went out on 28th of November 1977. After reuniting with Maria, who had already given herself to him, Maria was having a baby. After a tiring 9 months, where Angel had to work two jobs day and night, Maria gave birth to an eight pound baby boy. Luckily, he was very healthy. He was named Cain. While Cain was growing up, Angel was again working two jobs, doing his best to secure food on the table where the three ate. Three years later, after stabilizing their economy, they decided to have another child. Another baby boy was brought to life, and he was named Mauricio. Maria and Angel enjoyed a happy life as a couple and a family, until something very horrid happened. Angel was contacted by some outside goons of the Nuestra Familia that he had to pay thirteen thousand dollars by the end of the week, as a result of some “protection” money for the so protection in prison. He was quite crushed and didn’t know what to do. He didn’t have more than a couple of hundred on his savings, and all his properties excluding his house wouldn’t build up to more than seventeen hundred dollars. After carefully discussing it with Maria, they decided to flee to Wisconsin. Angel had already settled a few connections there and the place was ready for living. They lived in a small apartment at the suburbs of Wisconsin for three months, until he was given the heads-up to leave from a friend who had deep connections with the Nuestra Familia. He took up on his word, and decided that it would be too hard to keep running around, and he only knew of a place that Nuestra Familia had no real power in. Los Santos.
Image
The city where there was clear presence of Surenos and La eMe. They took up upon their luggage’s and hit the road again towards Los Santos, San Andreas. After a two days’ road, they arrived and found a place to rent in Las Flores. Eight years passed and there were no more messages from Nuestra Familia. It seemed that they had forgotten all about Angel. Paying for rent, bills, clothing, food and all the small luxuries that Cain and Mauricio wanted was not cheap. Angel had to work two jobs, but one was always left a secret. On day-time he worked at Bed, Bath and Beyond while on the dark nights he sold drugs for a gang named Brown Pride Locos. He soon invited his cousin over, Carlito Vasquez, who helped him sell a bigger amount of drugs for a shorter amount of time. Cain and Mauricio were really enjoying the numerous presents, while there was slight suspicion from Maria about the jobs. One night, she decided to follow Angel’s path, and encountered him while he was selling a few baggies. She immediately went home, packed her bags and grabbed Mauricio and Cain as they moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Cain was around twelve at the time and he was fully aware of what was going on. Angel had attempted contacting them, but all that was said was that they left and that he shouldn’t come looking back. Angel went into a stage of depression as he heard the news, which made him turn into drugs and gangbanging more. He fully gave it up for BPL, and him alongside his cousin Carlito were part of the High Council of the gang, which meant they had a call in every shot that was taken regarding the gang.

Angel had somehow wiped the memory of having two loving sons and a loving wife until he heard the knock on the door one night at three AM. His eyes gazed upon Cain, who was standing cold and wet, while tears slid through his cheeks. He took him in and found out that Cain had left home in Phoenix, and went all the way through trains, busses and cars to get to Los Santos. Cain at the time was sixteen years old, and informed his father that Mauricio’s surname had been changed into Ortiz, the family name of Maria. That just seemed to break Angel’s heart, as he cleaned up his crib to make a place for Cain. He slid through the blankets and Cain laid down on the bed, falling asleep instantly. Angel knew that he couldn’t have his son see his father gangbang, for he would know that the pressure on Cain to do the same would be high. He bought a house at 27th Street in Ganton, where he had his cousin Carlito lookout for everything he needed. Angel spent most of his time outside, but when he was home, he always tried to comfort Cain into believing that everything was going to be alright.
Image

Cain had started going to school, and was unsure of the decision that he made. School was not that easy for him. Ganton was mostly a black populated neighborhood, a factor which made sure that he was pushed around every day. One thing about Cain, is that he always pushed back. Upon gathering a few friends to fight and protect each other, the creation of Colonial Watts Avenue was beginning to start. They didn’t really pick the name, it’s like it was given to them. Most of the guys there were from Watts, and they thought it would look cool to have a Colonial in front of their name. Cain insisted on adding a 27, to not forget 27th street, the place that he resided.

After three years of numerous brawls and fights, they had made a name for themselves being a revolutionary movement of the Hispanic community. They worked up some drugs and weapons on the side, to secure the income. They were soon being transformed into a gang. Angel witnessed all of this, and was proud to say that his son made it happen. Just when things were sparkling up for the movement, Cain took a decision to leave the gang in order for him to join the army. Many of the members were confused, as Cain took an important role in handling the gang. Just three days before leaving for the Army, he had received a call from his brother Mauricio, who had told him that he was coming to Los Santos to live, after countless of opportunities missed in Phoenix.
Image
The next day, Mauricio came around, and Cain made sure everyone knew not to mess with him. Cain left for the Army, and spent three years in the 4th Infantry Division of the U.S Army in Iraq.
After Cain’s dishonorable discharge, he came back to Los Santos and found out that his brother Mauricio had worked his way up the ranks and was leading the movement. Mauricio was an exemplary leader, and had already won three “beef-wars” against other gangs who were trying to get Ganton for themselves. The whole of Ganton was now ruled by the CWA. Cain reunited with his brother and his brother’s friends; Zio, Rico and Maxi, and together they proceeded leading one of the most influential and powerful gangs of Los Santos up-to-date.

Cain Navas was born on the 2nd of December, 1977. He was raised by his father, Angel Navas. He grew up in a moderately dangerous neighborhood, and he was often prone of racial attacks from black students at his school. He held along the revolutionary Hispanic movement of Ganton, where the neighborhoods' Hispanics had to unite, in order to remove the blacks away. His father died of pneumococcal pneumonia. He had a very important role in shaping the future of the Colonial Watts Avenue, forming various relationships with other gangs, and securing the gang's safety due to being "streetsmart". He is known for his authoritarian attitude, which has its way carved into the very roots of the movement. Has served three years in the United States Army, in the 4th Infantry Division based in Fort Carson. Was part of the Iraq war. Got dishonorably discharged due to excessive use of force used upon Iraqi civilians. Runs Colonial Watts Avenue alongside his brother, Mauricio.

Mauricio Ortiz was born on September the 5th, 1982. He was raised by his mother, Maria Ortiz after she and Angel Navas had separated. He grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. He visited his father and brother in Los Santos once a year. He idolized his brother and his ways while being in Los Santos, and had always utmost respect for him. Upon his father's death, and the departure of Cain to the United States Army, he moved to Los Santos, where he continued the movement on his own. Him and his brother were reunited, and continued to head along and lead the movement for an unspecified amount of time. He is known for his loyal ways and general good-hearted manners. Survived three gun shots to different parts of his body, including his chest. Runs Colonial Watts Avenue alongside his brother, Cain.

The gang was formed on September the 14th by McFrenzie & Alor. The faction was created on a sole base of enjoyment and an interest at bringing an enjoyable, yet realistic experience as a gang in LS:RP. We are fully realistic, which means, we don't go CKing our members for every little fuck up, we take things ICly, and accept everyone's flaws, seeing as there's no perfect member. We're very strict OOCly, which means there's no messing around while IG, there's no trolling or anything that would make the faction look not serious, and unprofessional.
The gang started as a movement to protect the Hispanic population of 27th Street, a street which is going from Binco to Grove Street. We have chosen a small territory firstly, due to the realism factor addition if we intend to expand. The XXVIII number, is a roman number of 27, representing our street's number. The name Colonial Watts Avenue, came ICly, during a major Hispanic flow rounding the Watts towers, which later decided to move to Ganton but stuck with the name.

COLONIAL WATTS AVENUE SUB SETS: CWA currently has two active and running sub sets or more known as cliques. These two crews are mainly for another variety of roleplay while in our faction. Outlawz and The Blue Angels Motorcycle Club. You may roleplay with whatever crew you're recruited in characterly but you must remember that you're under us at all times and your actions and concequences are decided by Colonial Watts Avenue itself.
Image

OOC Communication is one of the main backbones of our faction. We will be using IRC as our way of communicating. Being on IRC while in the faction is mandatory. IRC enables us to discuss things more easily, inform people about situations, request for people to head IG, etcetera. As I said it's mandatory, so if you don't have IRC, or are not planning to use it, you won't succeed much on climbing the hierarchy of our faction.

IRC Channel: #cwa

Teamspeak is not mandatory for the faction, nor preferred, but it is available for our members. We have a designated channel, for members/people who are interested in talking with our faction members.

Teamspeak channel: Colonial Watts Avenue

We also have private forums, which are mandatory. After being active IG, it is the next most important thing. In our private forums, there's everything regarding members and rank information, discussions, suggestions, private modifications, and everything that is regarding of the faction. I repeat that it's mandatory, so you MUST check it at least once per day. If you are roleplaying with us, or intend to do so, register with a "Name Surname" format. Any registrations with an underline included "Name_Surname", a forum name "Name" or any other names that are not your IG name, will be deleted.

Private forums: http://www.cwa27.freeforums.org

Image

You have to abide these rules if you plan on being a part of our faction. If you don't agree to a rule in here, don't bother attempting to join us.

  • Abide all server rules, one ajail over 30 minutes and you're automatically removed from the faction. This is a drastically strict rule and we expect you to fully follow it.
  • You agree to a CK upon joining the rank Lookout+. You can try to escape ICly and keep the character alive, but if we have decided that you are to be CK'ed and we actually kill you ICly, you will be forced to change your name/never use the same character again.
  • Absolutely no trolling, none in our IRC channel, forums, LS:RP forums or IG.
  • Alternate accounts can never pass the Lookout rank, so if you want to climb the hierarchy you must roleplay in your main account.
  • Remember, respect others if you want to gain respect.
